Dean Wang is a junior at Rochester Century High School, devoted to public health advocacy and scientific research for the world’s pressing diseases. His passion for social health entrepreneurship was inspired by witnessing widespread global health issues. Dean is the author of Strong As Always, contributing to the amelioration of mental distress in youth. He is one of the youngest members of the Worldwide Hospice Palliative Care Alliance (WHPCA), where he advocates for the eradication of healthcare inequities. He is also a member of the Minnesota Junior Academy of Science, working to promote science education equity for underrepresented students. In addition, Dean serves as the Minnesota BPA Executive Vice President, where he helps improve education and leadership for students across the state.
